All members are invited to attend an in-person only meeting at 8.00 pm in Lock 13, Sallins, on Wednesday 2nd August 2023 in order to formulate a Branch position on Waterways Ireland’s proposed bye law revisions* for the canals and the Shannon.
The proposed bye laws, if passed in their current format, will significantly alter the current boating and regulatory environment for both leisure and residential boaters and it is important that their impact is fully assessed. Members’ views will form the basis of IWAI Kildare’s submission to IWAI Executive, and ultimately for inclusion in IWAI’s submission to WI.
