Funding of €4.2m has been allocated to Kildare County Council for the Grand Canal Greenway from Sallins to Clonkeen.
The Greenway on this stretch includes the Leinster Aqueduct, Landenstown, Bog of Moods, Robertstown & Lowtown, Allenwood and on to Ticknevin and Clonkeen.
