Sallins Boat Gathering and Parade Saturday April 20 2024, from 10:00 to 14:00.
Boats will gather west of Lock 15 between 10:00 and 11:15 before making their way west through Sallins.
This year, we are celebrating the 40th anniversary of IWAI Kildare. Before some of our boats leave for their annual tours along Ireland’s canals, lakes and rivers, we are kicking off the season with an informal get-together in Sallins.
This is a celebration of Sallins in the heart of Kildare Waterways, currently a permanent home to Residential boaters, a winter home to Recreational boaters, a home for Boat Tours and a visitor’s stop for Touring boaters, walkers and cyclists.
