Important Information about Rallies
We love our IWAI Lough Derg rallies. They are great fun for everyone, with rest, music, food, extravaganzas, workshops, games and fabulous family activities for all ages. However, there are a few rules and conditions participants need to know about!
Every vessel on the rally should be properly found in sound condition and covered by an adequate Third Party Liability Insurance Policy. Each vessel must carry adequate safety equipment, including lifejackets and personal floatation devices (PFDs) for each Crew Member, fire-fighting equipment, an anchor and a first aid kit.
NOTE: Only paid-up members of the IWAI are eligible to participate in the rally. If you do not have your membership number, don’t hesitate to get in touch with the membership secretary here. If you are not currently a member, you can join here.
Rally forms must be completed, signed and returned to the IWAI before a rally by the vessels Skipper. Skippers must be over 18 years old. The Skipper is solely and wholly in charge of their vessel and crew. In the interest of safety, the number of vessels permitted to enter the rally will be limited.
See you on the next Rally!
