Welcome to IWAI Royal Canal

We represent boaters, canal users and enthusiasts on the Royal Canal. Our members are spread out along the canal from it’s junction with the Shannon at Richmond Harbour to the Kildare border. From Kildare to Spencer Dock, where the Royal joins the Liffey, the canal is represented very ably by the IWAI Kildare and Dublin branches, though many of our members choose to be members of two branches.

This year we continue running the 2020s BC. This August we ran a successful Cruise In Company from Richmond Harbour to Ballybrannigan, Return.
