The Barrow is one of the jewels in the Irish crown of rivers rising in County Laois at the foot of the Slieve Bloom mountains, passing through Kildare and Carlow and finally making its way to the sea in Wexford. It facilitates many activities such as boating, photography, fishing, walking, cycling, and supports a vast world of nature.
