We have the following guidelines for this site:

  1. IWAI cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information on this site.
  2. Any work contributed to the IWAI websites by an individual becomes IWAI property unless otherwise noted.
  3. Photographs may contain a © IWAI, but the copyright remains with the photographer.
  4. Photographers grant a right to use contributed photos to promote IWAI’s aims and be distributed with IWAI’s products and other output.
  5. We may at times upload images to our website without the contributor or photographer’s initials in the image name.
  6. We may at times acknowledge a collection of images given to us by a contributor and assume right to use as above.
  7. We will endeavour to ensure that children in images cannot be identified, unless we are given the explicit permission of a child’s parent.  This means you may only see images on the site of children in the distance or in crowd scenes. We have adopted the Guidelines for Taking and Using Images of Children and Young People available from the Heritage Council and the Arts Council in PDF format at Arts in Education
  8. We will strive to ensure that any photograph loaded to the site is deemed to be in good taste and does not cause embarrassment.
  9. If anyone feels strongly against a particular photograph of them being shown on the site, we will remove it.
  10. We may crop an image or edit an article to fit a web page; all images will be compressed to a web format.
