Lifting bridges inoperable until 09 April 2020

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that pre-season checks on both Rooskey and Tarmonbarry lifting bridges has identified that essential maintenance is required in order to ensure the bridges remain safely operational for the boating season. Consequently, both bridges will be closed until 09 April 2020 to allow essential works be completed.

A scheduled bridge lift will take place to allow for urgent passages on Friday 27th March from 09:30am to 10:30am in Rooskey and from 11:30am to 12:30am in Tarmonbarry.

Waterways Ireland apologies for any inconvenience caused by this matter.
