Grand Canal – Barrow Line
Monasterevin Lifting Bridge
Closed for repairs until further notice
Waterways Ireland wishes to notify Masters and owners of vessels that due to
technical difficulties the lifting bridge on the Barrow Line at Monasterevin
cannot currently be opened for navigation traffic. Waterways Ireland are
working to put the bridge back in operation and hope to issue an update on
this item by the coming weekend.
Waterways Ireland apologises for any inconvenience caused.
