Welcome to the Inland Waterways Association of Ireland,
Barrow.

IWAI Barrow aims to represent the interests of waterways users throughout the area drained by The “Three Sisters”
(the rivers Nore, Barrow, and Suir).

IWAI Barrow is a loose association of dedicated waterways users, primarily boaters.
Down through the years the group has organised boat rallys, walks, and various voluntary maintenance and clean-up activities.

Additionally, the organisation makes representations to both the various local authorities along the waterway and to Waterways Ireland (the statutory body with responsibility for our Inland Waterways)
