Puddin’n Porter CIC in Lecarrow, Sept 16th to 18th

Yet another successful weekend in Lecarrow for the Puddin’n Porter Festival. In excess of twenty five boats made it to Lecarrow. On Friday evening we had a branch meeting in Kellys of Lecarrow, thanks to them for their hospitality. Saturday was a relaxing day ….some members took a walk in Padraig Corcorans Eco Farm, others took a cycle to Rindoon, while some ventured out to Blackbrink Bay for a spin in their Ribs.

The gathering

The traditional Wine Cheese and Puddin’n Porter Pies gathering took place on the quay around 5:30pm where we welcomed a number of new members to the branch …. it’s a great way to recruit new members. Thanks to Andy Sloyan for collecting the proceeds from attendees. In addition to covering the cost of the event we had an excess of €50 which we presented to the RNLI on Sunday morning

Following ‘on board BBQs’ the fleet adjourned to Coffeys Pub for a wonderful evening (and morning) of musical entertainment courtesy of John Quinn and his merry musicians. See more pictures in the 2016 gallery.
